Night 9 of Survivor: Gabon brought the Kota tribe back to camp after voting Paloma out. Kelly was sad that she had lost a friend, which worried her about being a potential target. In a confessional, Ace said that Tribal Council was a terrible experience — ranking right next to getting his wisdom teeth taken out. As for Kelly, he felt she was the next lamb heading to the slaughterhouse.

Denise Martin — Her Life Since Survivor

She became known as the “lunch lady from Survivor: China” who made it all the way to the final four. RealityTVMagazine’s Ryan Haidet had the opportunity to chat with Denise Martin this summer to discuss what has been happening with her life since the show. She talked about handling the controversy where people accused her of lying about losing her job after the show and an interesting collection she’s been building since her childhood.

Survivor: Gabon — Paloma’s Torch Snuffed

Paloma voted out third.

After voting two people out back to back, Survivor: Gabon’s Fang tribe returned to camp on Night 6 still coping with all their challenge losses.  Crystal said that getting rid of Gillian was a good thing because she was a major weak link.  But Randy couldn’t believe how idiotic his tribe was acting.  He said that winning was starting to look out of reach.

Jeff Probst Wins Emmy Award

After winning his first Emmy for Outstanding Reality Host for Survivor, Jeff Probst is still staring at the statuette sitting in his living room in awe. He told PEOPLE, “It didn’t hit me ’til the other day. I came downstairs and I had my tux still slung over the couch and the Emmy still sitting on a coffee table with a piece of paper with my name on it.”

After months of waiting, the reality giant made its triumphant return like never before.  For the first time, Survivor premiered with a two-hour episode broadcast in high definition.  There couldn’t have been a better time to begin HD either.  Great shots of all the wildlife and stunning landscapes of Gabon really popped off the screen in HD as the 18 new castaways made their way through a grassy field and walked up to host Jeff Probst.  From right then, the game was on.

Survivor China’s Jaime Dugan and Erik Huffman Are Engaged

Jaime Dugan and Erik Huffman, who both appeared on Survivor China, are engaged to be married, and are asking friends to help them win a free wedding. Jaime is best known for throwing an immunity challenge and later playing a fake immunity idol, while Erik is best known for being a virgin who had his boxer briefs blurred. Both were members of the jury, and they announced they were dating at the live reunion last December.
